Vortex Shisha Bowl
The vortex hookah bowl is taking the art of shisha smoking to a new level! This ingenious concept in shisha bowl design is similar to how the phunnel shisha bowl works with the key difference of having the intake holes on the side of the center spire, as opposed to the top. No more airflow troubles!
With no holes at the bottom of the bowl for the “shisha juice” to sluice through, more flavor is retained resulting in a longer lasting smoking session. The vortex bowl holds around 25-30 grams of shisha tobacco, is available in 7 colors, and will fit on most any hookah out there! The key to unlocking the limitations of the phunnel bowl is in the design of the Vortex bowl.
The shape of both is similar (a raised spire in the center interior of the bowl in place of the traditional “bottom holes”) but whereas the phunnel bowl has a single hole on top, the Vortex has four holes on the outside of the spire. There are a few specific advantages made possible by the clever design of the Vortex: The first being it’s much easier to draw smoke, and secondly the greatest drawbacks of the phunnel bowl.
The single hole getting plugged by the foil–is eliminated. Also, shisha is not as easily wasted with the Vortex bowl as the design allows it to simmer far more evenly. The opening of this bowl on the bottom part is larger than the traditional bowls so it is recommended that you use 1 or 2 thick mod bowl grommets for the best fit for your shisha.
